Golden Hour Studio

A portfolio site for a two-person design studio. Deliberately the opposite of our café concept: editorial, sharp-cornered and calm, so the work does the talking.

For a studio, the website is the portfolio. Visitors are judging taste from the first second, so the site has to feel considered — and get out of the way of the work.

The approach

  • Editorial, not flashy. Deep pine green, bone white and a single gold accent. Flat, sharp corners, no gradients, no bouncy motion — just 150ms color transitions.
  • Work first. “Selected work” is the second thing you see, with large images and minimal captions.
  • Services as a quiet list. Three numbered lines, each with a one-sentence promise.
  • One clear ask. Every path ends at “Start a project.”

What it shows for your business

Not every business should feel playful. Professional services, practices and studios often need a site that feels calm, confident and trustworthy. Matching the feel of the site to the business is half the job.
